three empty bottles, three empty cans
one empty beaker, one empty pint
glass (none
that hold air,
__________eight servings of the bare
wall outlined in chubby pink or cyanosis
or gold that can’t be bought
____________________purity
______is a full jug of wine
take off the corks
and there’s already blood
__________________when glass can’t stick
______to your shelves or mine
