Poem: Leaving Autumn

every window opens with the right blade
I let you in my grain

                                  dark home
                            and now regret the light
you let in & left
                            me with only filters
to turn sky sepia
                             and the leaves
                               which will soon fall

Learning from ones mistakes also helps to ease the regret. The pain of heartbreak, you captured it beautifully with this piece.
