Elizabeth Kate Switaj is the Assistant Managing Editor of Irish Pages: A Journal of Contemporary Writing and a Contributing Editor to Poets’ Quarterly. She recently completed her PhD at Queen’s University Belfast with a dissertation on James Joyce as an EFL teacher. She previously taught English in Japan and China. As of August 2013, she will be a Humanities Instructor at the College of the Marshall Islands.
